A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. New P.E. Activities Facility (gym building) for the existing Stockbridge Elementary School. This portion of the work includes demolition of the existing free-standing elementary school gym and construction of a new free-standing elementary school gym building that connects back to the existing elementary school with walkway canopies. a. New STEM High School This portion of the work includes demolition of the existing campus buildings formerly known as Patrick Henry High School. a. Building Area: 171,855 SF with 9,647 SF of outdoor covered area b. Educational Occupancy c. Type IB Construction (Fully Sprinklered) d. Structural steel frame with concrete block infill, brick veneer and metal wall panels. e. TPO roof system
