2024-07 Old Stone Church Addition

Background
The Catoosa County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed written proposals from qualified vendors to construct a 277 square foot addition onto the existing Old Stone Church historical building located at 41 Old Catoosa Pkwy, Ringgold, GA.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality of the historical site while preserving its integrity.

Work Details
The contractor will construct an addition with exterior dimensions of 14 ft x 23 ft, resulting in a finished interior of 277 square feet.
The addition will be built according to architectural drawings provided by Ross Andrews Architect, Inc.
Key responsibilities include:
1) Lawfully disposing of all materials;
2) Ensuring no unsecured openings into the church are left at the end of each day;
3) Maintaining a clean work area daily;
4) Providing a safe work environment;
5) Taking corrective actions for any notices of violations;
6) Purchasing and installing shingles with a 25-year warranty per manufacturer instructions;
7) Providing warranty paperwork for shingles, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by September 5, 2024.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at the Old Stone Church located at 41 Old Catoosa Pkwy, Ringgold, GA.
