Background
The Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers’ Compensation (Division), requires statistical information generated by the WCRI to measure the performance of the Florida Workers' Compensation System based upon several performance benchmarks studied by WCRI and in comparison, to other states involved in the study. This information will, in turn, be used to carry out the Division’s obligation in regard to the State’s workers’ compensation system and to direct potential legislative changes that may be necessary to ensure the stability of the Florida Workers' Compensation System.
