Description

The City of St. Pete Beach is looking for vendors to create a Watershed Management Master Plan. Full bid requirements, project plans, and technical specs are below.
Background
The City of St. Pete Beach is seeking vendors to develop a Watershed Management Master Plan (WMMP) that will replace the existing Stormwater Master Plan. The goal is to identify resiliency measures to mitigate the impacts of sea level rise on the community, particularly in areas below elevation 2.0 feet (NAVD88).

This initiative follows a history of flooding issues exacerbated by high tides and climate change, necessitating a comprehensive strategy for water management and infrastructure improvement.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide general engineering services to update the City’s Watershed Management Masterplan, focusing on flooding mitigation and water quality improvement recommendations. Specific tasks include:
- Conducting public meetings
- Providing digital topographic information
- Performing watershed evaluations
- Floodplain analysis
- Assessing surface water resources
- Developing best management practices for water quality
- Conducting benefit-cost analyses
- Creating a 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

Deliverables will also include progress reports detailing work completed and future activities.

Proposals must include a signed/notarized Contractor’s Proposal Submittal, Fee Schedule, References, Contractor’s license and insurance certificates, and Public Entity Criminal Affidavit.
