Warrington Gateway Park fountain maintenance

Background
The Warrington Gateway Park fountain maintenance contract is an ongoing maintenance job that requires the vendor to maintain the fountain at the Warrington Gateway Park. The fountain is part of the beautification done by the Warrington Community Redevelopment Area in conjunction with citizens and businesses to commemorate the Blue Angels. Escambia County is looking for a vendor with experience in pool and fountain repair and maintenance. The vendor must be available locally to complete its weekly, quarterly, and annual duties and make themselves reasonably available on short notice to address any problems with the fountain as they may arise.

Work Details
The vendor is required to provide routine fountain maintenance services that are performed weekly, quarterly, and annually, including conducting inspections, adding chlorine as needed, cleaning debris out of the fountain pool, back-flushing the system and drains, draining the pool, removing debris from the bottom of the pool, cleaning the cartridge filter, replacing the cartridge filter with a new one annually, draining the pool and installing a crate-style filter, replacing submersible lights in the fountain, and installing a timer on the pump.
Additionally, other services such as pump replacement, repairing leaks in plumbing or at shut off levers, and repairing clogged pipes should be cost-estimated for future repairs. The services are for a period of twelve months, renewable for up to two additional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Warrington Gateway Park located just east of Navy Boulevard in the right-of-way of Barrancas Avenue in Pensacola, FL.
