Description

See attached Notice of Intended Decision to Enter Into a Single Source Contract (PUR 7778).

Background
The Florida Department of State is seeking to enter into a single source contract for the Voter Registration Application (VRA) for the Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS).

The purpose of this contract is to obtain a computer-based application software that is essential for the Bureau of Voter Registration Services (BVRS) to perform its mandated statutory duties. The VRA, known as Voter Focus, is critical for the operations of the BVRS and has been in use since 2006.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of the VR System’s Voter Registration Application (VRA), specifically the Voter Focus software.

This software is necessary for daily operations within the BVRS and must interface with the FVRS as specified by the Florida Department of State. The application is unique in its capabilities and is exclusively available from VR Systems, Inc.

The following commodities are included: Development software (UNSPSC Code: 43232400) and Application server software (UNSPSC Code: 43232701). The total price for this contract is $43,698.00.
