Ventilator Maintenance and Repair Services

Background
The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners is seeking competitive sealed bids from authorized vendors to provide maintenance and repair services for 40 County-owned Vyaire Medical LTV 1200 Ventilators.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of these critical medical devices over a three-year period, with an estimated project cost of $140,225.00.

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for the Vyaire Medical LTV 1200 Ventilators, which includes:
1. Preventative Maintenance every two years or 10,000 hours, including visual inspections, diagnostic checks, operational checks per OEM specifications, calibration of transducers, and replacement of specific parts such as motor boards and filters.
2. Six-year preventative maintenance tasks that may include replacing solenoid manifolds, flow valves, rotary switch assemblies, oxygen blenders, fan assemblies, and silicone tubing.
3. Repairs outside regular maintenance will be billed at an hourly labor rate with parts covered under an allowance for parts.
4. The contractor must maintain a stock of necessary parts to meet service requirements promptly.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a three-year period from the effective date established by the County's Blanket Purchase Agreement or Contract Purchase Agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at locations within Hillsborough County where the ventilators are located.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized service centers for the LTV 1200 Ventilator and ISO 13485:2016 certified at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract term.
Additionally, technicians performing services must have relevant certifications such as CABT, CBET, or CHTM from AAMI.
