Background
The Miami-Dade County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is seeking a pool of nine Architectural and Engineering (A/E) consultants to assist in providing transportation planning services for Miami-Dade County. This initiative is part of the General Planning Consultant (GPC) Phase IX project, aimed at enhancing the transportation planning process in alignment with federal and state requirements. The contract will support the TPO's mission to develop and maintain an effective transportation system that meets the needs of the community.

Work Details
The selected consultants will provide a range of professional planning activities on an as-needed basis, including:

1. Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) development, including socio-economic data updates, scenario planning, maintenance of current LRTP, and public involvement support.

2. Assistance with the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), including financial analysis and coordination with partner agencies.

3. Development of the Unified Planning Work Program and Public Participation Plan.

4. Support for performance management and geographic information systems.

5. Technical programs related to land use scenarios, economic mobility, travel demand forecasting, and more.

6. Data collection and multimodal/intermodal planning activities.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an effective term of 1,095 days (three years) with two one-year options to extend.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have valid technical certifications in specified areas such as Urban Area Regional Transportation Planning and Mass/Rapid Transit Planning. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 10.54% is established for this project, encouraging participation from small businesses.
