Thermo Fisher Scientific Equipment Maintenance and Support Services with Thermo Electron North Ameri

Background
The Department of Financial Services, Division of Criminal Investigations (formerly Division of Investigative and Forensic Services) intends to enter into an agreement with Thermo Fisher North America LLC to procure maintenance and repair services for Analytical Laboratory Instrumentation by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The posting of this Notice of Intended Contract Award will commence on June 6, 2024 at 3:30 P.M. (ET) and continue for 72 hours excluding holidays and weekend until June 11, 2024 at 3:30 P.M. (ET).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a 12-month service plan for Thermo Fisher Scientific laboratory equipment, used by the Division to support investigations by conducting analysis in accordance with sections 633.104(1) and 633.112, Florida Statutes, and Rule 69D-5.001, Florida Administrative Code. The service plan shall include one (1) scheduled annual Preventative Maintenance visit, and an unlimited number of corrective maintenance site visits within 72 hours (3 business days) of the Department’s issuance of a technical support inquiry.
In addition, the contractor is to provide only performance-verified replacement parts, software, technical support, upgrades, and on-site maintenance from certified, trained service engineers.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months.
