Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Services 3 RFP

Background
The State of Florida, Department of Management Services (DMS) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP No. DMS-24/25-264) for the Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Services 3 (TIPS-3). This initiative aims to enhance telecommunications infrastructure across various regions in Florida, ensuring improved connectivity and service delivery.

The DMS is responsible for managing state resources and providing support services to state agencies.

Work Details
The contract encompasses two main divisions:

1. Division One - Cabling Distribution System
2. Division Two - E-Rate Category Two

Under Division One, multiple vendors will provide cabling distribution services across various regions in Florida, including but not limited to CenturyLink Communications, LLC, Data Set Ready, Inc., and Mission Critical Solutions, Inc. Division Two focuses on E-Rate Category Two services with similar vendor participation. Specific tasks include installation, maintenance, and upgrades of telecommunications infrastructure as required by the DMS.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue for a specified duration as outlined in the RFP documentation.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across multiple regions in Florida as designated by the Department of Management Services.
