Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Services 3 RFP

Background
The Florida Department of Management Services is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a State Term Contract for Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Services (TIPS 3). The goal of this contract is to replace the previous TIPS 2 contract, which had an average annual spend of approximately $5.5 million over the last three fiscal years.

The Department intends to make multiple awards, either statewide or by region, based on what is deemed to be in the best interest of the State.

Work Details
Respondents awarded a contract under this RFP will provide telecommunications infrastructure project services as outlined in Attachment A, Statement of Work. This includes but is not limited to cabling distribution systems and E-Rate Category Two services.

Vendors must also complete a Pricing Workbook that details their proposed costs for these services. The contract will involve providing commodities and/or contractual services as specified in the attachments.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period for evaluations is from September 8, 2025, to September 19, 2025. The anticipated contract start date is upon execution following the award process.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide across Florida, with specific regions defined in Attachment M, Region Map.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must provide documentation of a valid and current State of Florida license for at least one of the following professions: Registered Electrical Specialty Contractor, Low Voltage System Specialist, or Registered Electrical Contractor.

Additionally, they must provide documentation of a valid BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification held by an individual currently employed by the Respondent.
