Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Fence Installation

Background
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the purchase and installation of a fence to enclose the FDLE Tallahassee Regional Operations Center (TROC) building located at 2090 Summit Lake Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32317. The goal of this contract is to enhance security at the facility by enclosing the property with a robust fencing solution.

The contract will be awarded based on competitive sealed bids, with the intent to make a single award and issue a Purchase Order.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install an eight-foot tall fence that includes:
- Two powered sliding vehicle gates
- One manual swinging gate
- One pedestrian gate

The fence design will consist of black decorative fencing and black chain link fencing with a privacy screen. Specific requirements include:
- The decorative fencing must match the style shown in Attachment J.
- The chain link portion must match the style in Attachment I.
- The vendor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for installation.
- Responsibilities also include contacting utility providers for marking underground utilities, clearing vegetation, conducting a property survey, cutting and patching asphalt/concrete as needed, and ensuring electrical power access for the gates.
- A warranty of three years from installation acceptance by FDLE is required.

Period of Performance
The delivery and installation of the fence must be completed before September 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the FDLE TROC building located at 2090 Summit Lake Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32317.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
- Submission of a signed FDLE ITB 2551 Acknowledgment Form.
- Completion of mandatory attachments including Certification of Site Visit and Price Sheet.
- Bidders must not be listed on the Federal Excluded Parties List or engaged in forced labor practices. Additionally, they must certify compliance with public records laws.
