Surveillance and Detection Equipment / Software (Confidential)

Background
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is intending to procure surveillance and detection equipment/software through a single-source procurement. The procurement is mandated by FDLE and is in accordance with Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3), Florida Statutes (F.S.). The intended single source, EPIC iO, is the sole provider of the technology, processes, and specifications essential to FDLE's investigative mission.

Work Details
The commodities or contractual services required include surveillance and detection equipment (UNSPSC code: 46171600) and information retrieval or search software (UNSPSC code: 43232309). The performance and/or design requirements are related to FDLE's mission to promote public safety and strengthen domestic security by providing services in partnership with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes while protecting Florida’s citizens pursuant to Chapter 943, FS, and Chapter 11, FAC. The surveillance and detection equipment/software is related to FDLE investigative tactics and is confidential.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for five (5) years.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for this contract will be at the Pensacola Regional Operations Center of FDLE.
