Stormwater Improvements Phase 2

Background
The Town of Montverde, FL (Owner) is seeking sealed bids for Stormwater Improvements as part of their ongoing efforts to enhance local infrastructure. The project aims to improve stormwater management in the area, aligning with the mission to ensure sustainable development and environmental protection.

Funding for this project is provided through a Florida EPA Grant under the Resilient Florida Program and a Lake County Water Authority Stormwater Grant, which requires compliance with certain federal provisions.

Work Details
The contract includes various tasks related to stormwater improvements, specifically:
- Clearing and grubbing
- Tree and shrub removal
- Full depth pavement reconstruction
- Roadway widening
- Driveway apron reconstruction
- Installation of curbing
- Installation of sidewalk
- Construction of stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs)
- Installation of stormwater structures
- Installation of stormwater piping
- Revegetation

Bidders must provide all materials, equipment, construction, and services necessary for the completion of the work in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications and Standard Details.

Period of Performance
Substantial Completion is required within 120 days from the start date, with Final Completion expected within 150 days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Montverde, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Section 255.20 of the Florida Statutes and other applicable laws. A bid security of 5% of the total bid is required upon submission. There are no specific M/WBE or other set-aside certifications mentioned.
