Background
The City of St. Petersburg, Florida is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from multiple qualified Contractors interested in providing continuing services for Projects located at various locations City-wide for Stormwater and Drainage Improvements.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the city's stormwater management and drainage infrastructure, which is crucial for environmental protection and urban resilience.
Work Details
The services requested will include, but are not limited to, the following Work Categories:
1) Storm Sewer and Drainage Structures: Installation of new reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE), and other approved storm sewer materials; replacement, upsizing, or abandonment of existing storm sewer mains and laterals; installation, replacement, or adjustment of catch basins, curb inlets, grate inlets, manholes, junction boxes, headwalls, wingwalls, baffle boxes and related structures; concrete, masonry, reinforcement, and frame/grate adjustments for existing structures; excavation, backfilling, compaction, and dewatering necessary to complete work.
2) Culverts, Outfalls, and Tidal Structures: Installation and/or rehabilitation of box culverts, arch culverts, large-diameter pipes; construction and/or rehabilitation of stormwater outfalls; installation of backflow preventers, flap gates, tidal gates; construction and repair of headwalls.
3) Channels, Swales, and Stormwater Facilities: Excavation and grading of open channels; lining with sod or riprap; removal of sediment from conveyance systems; construction or modification of stormwater ponds.
4) Roadway Restoration: Milling and paving disturbed roadway sections; construction or replacement of curbs and sidewalks affected by drainage work.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the agreement will be for 3 years with one optional 2-year renewal period by mutual agreement.
Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various locations throughout the City of St. Petersburg.
Bidder Requirements
Contractors must have or be able to obtain all required licenses and certifications to perform the work in St. Petersburg. They must also maintain minimum insurance requirements throughout the duration of the agreement.
