Background
The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is the largest agency in Florida and operates the third-largest state prison system in the United States, managing 143 facilities statewide. Work Details
The awarded contractor will be responsible for supplying, installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems at specified locations as outlined in Attachment I – Scope of Work. Services include emergency repairs, non-emergency repairs, and regular maintenance of roofing systems.
The contractor must ensure that all work complies with the specifications provided in the ITB. Services are required to be completed within 90 days of purchase order issuance unless otherwise agreed upon. A warranty period of at least two years on materials and workmanship is required after installation.
Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a term of up to three years with potential renewals as specified in Section 287.057(14), F.S.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various correctional institutions throughout the State of Florida as specified in Attachment I – Scope of Work.
