State Guard Uniform Apparel And Components

Background
The Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Division of the Florida State Guard (FSG) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase of military uniforms and components. The objective is to establish a contract that allows for the timely provision of these items as needed, ensuring that the uniforms meet specific quality and functionality standards.

Work Details
The vendor shall develop and maintain a uniform package that includes durable, comfortable, and versatile multi-purpose uniform items. Specific requirements include:

- Timely delivery of all agreed-upon uniform items in sufficient quantities.
- Compliance with specifications outlined in Attachment A – Statement of Work.
- Provision of patches and insignias as specified, excluding FSG logo and Florida flag patches.
- Uniforms must be made from fabric that is colorfast, guaranteed washable, and meets a shrinkage allowance of approximately 2%.
- All garments must have labels indicating size, fiber content, brand, and care instructions.
- Defects must be corrected by the vendor at no cost to the Division within 45 days of notice.
- Development of a uniform order form with item numbers, sizing charts, and pricing.
- Publication of a color catalog within 60 days after award detailing all bid items with descriptions and prices.
- Maintenance of adequate stock levels for male and female uniform shirts, pants, and tee shirts to avoid back orders.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract/purchase order shall be effective on or about January 5, 2025, and shall expire on June 30, 2027. The Division has the option to renew for up to two additional years in one-year increments.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Tallahassee, Florida, with potential service calls at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starks, Florida.
