Description

Background
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is issuing a contract for Specialized Commercial Cleaning Services at the Orlando International Airport. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive cleaning services, including high-rise glass and window cleaning, skylight maintenance, and specialty surface cleaning. This initiative aims to maintain the aesthetic and operational standards of the airport facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, chemicals, materials, water trucks, equipment (including aerial lift equipment), and all other necessary items for performing the following services:

1. Interior/exterior high-rise glass and windows cleaning.
2. Interior/exterior skylights cleaning.
3. Interior/exterior canopy cleaning.
4. Cleaning of interior/exterior building details and components.
5. Specialty surface cleaning services.
6. Pressure washing services to remove gum, oil, stickers, soil, algae, grease deposits, and other foreign substances from roadway bridge abutments, knee-walls, piers, and ticket/toll structures.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be for sixty (60) months with the initial service commencing on or about January 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Orlando International Airport.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in providing similar services. They must also provide three references from clients for whom they have delivered similar services within the last three years. Additionally, the Site Manager and Supervisors must have attended an International Safety Training seminar conducted by the IWCA or a similar entity. Compliance with Local Developing Business (LDB) / Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation requirements is mandatory.
