Background
The Southbank Parking Improvements project is initiated by the City of Jacksonville's Public Works Department. The project aims to enhance the existing parking lot and boat ramp located at 901 Museum Drive, near Acosta Bridge adjacent to the old River City Brewery property. The goal is to provide improved access and facilities for users of the parking area and boat ramp.
Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the parking improvements. This includes but is not limited to: site preparation, grading, paving, drainage improvements, installation of signage, and any other related construction activities necessary for the completion of the project.
The construction must be completed within 150 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of the purchase order or contract and will continue until completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed General Contractors in Florida and must either hold a valid license as an Underground Utility Contractor or have a subcontractor who holds such a license. Bidders must also be prequalified in the HORIZONTAL category by the City at the time of bid opening.
Additionally, bidders are required to comply with local business tax regulations and provide proof of applicable local business licenses.
