South Florida Custodial Services

Background
The Florida Department of Commerce is seeking sealed bids for commercial custodial services for two locations: the Hollywood Building at 7550 Davie Road, Hollywood, FL 33024 and the Fort Lauderdale complex at 2550 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33311.

The goal is to obtain competitive pricing for these services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in state facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive custodial services which include but are not limited to: daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; trash removal; floor care (vacuuming, mopping, waxing); window cleaning; and any other related janitorial tasks as required by the Department of Commerce.

Specific requirements will be outlined in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to commence on July 1, 2025, and will last for 36 months until June 30, 2028. There is an option for renewal for up to an additional three years based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at two locations: Hollywood Building located at 7550 Davie Road, Hollywood, FL 33024 and Fort Lauderdale complex located at 2550 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33311.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the Florida Department of Management Services MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system prior to entering into a contract. They must also comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to the work being performed under this contract.

Additionally, bidders are encouraged to participate in diversity initiatives supporting minority-, women-, and veteran-owned business enterprises.
