Solar Canopy for Employee Parking Lot

The City of Gainesville's Regional Transit System (RTS) is requesting proposals from qualified and responsible Proposers for the design and construction of a $4.3 million photo-voltaic (PV) panel canopy for the employee parking lot. The purpose of this project is to generate power for RTS' collocated facilities through the installation of a solar canopy structure over the parking area. This solicitation is issued by the City of Gainesville's Regional Transit System (RTS). The contract involves the comprehensive design and construction of a solar canopy system utilizing PV panels, specifically intended to serve the employee parking lot and supply power to the associated RTS facilities. Interested Proposers must demonstrate experience and capability in designing and constructing large-scale solar PV canopy systems, and must adhere to all applicable codes, standards, and requirements as outlined in the solicitation documents.
