Security Guard Services

Background
The Florida Department of Commerce is seeking to procure security guard services as part of its mission to ensure safety and security within its facilities. The goal of this contract is to provide professional security services that meet the needs of the department and its stakeholders.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive security guard services, which include but are not limited to: monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Specific requirements include:
- Staffing qualified security personnel at designated locations.
- Maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
- Reporting any suspicious activities or incidents promptly.
- Providing emergency response as needed.
- Ensuring all personnel are trained in first aid and emergency procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a period of 12 months, with options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout Florida, including but not limited to Tallahassee, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, Tampa, Orlando, and Caldwell.
