Background
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is seeking qualified and experienced Respondents to provide Security Checkpoint Support Services at the Orlando International Airport (MCO). This solicitation aims to establish a 60-month contract beginning around February 18, 2026. The Authority manages MCO, which serves over 56.4 million passengers annually and is the busiest airport in Florida. The goal of this contract is to ensure quality services and enhance passenger experiences through effective security checkpoint operations.
Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, administrative oversight, materials, supplies, equipment, and other necessary items for performing Security Checkpoint Support Services at MCO. This includes:
- Staffing with qualified personnel for security checkpoints.
- Management of daily operations at the checkpoints.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing airport security.
- Coordination with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials.
- Maintenance of equipment and supplies necessary for checkpoint operations.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or about February 18, 2026, and will last for a period of 60 months.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must be licensed to do business in Florida. They are required to demonstrate a minimum of three years of relevant experience in airport security checkpoint support services at medium or large commercial-service airports within the last ten years. Additionally, Respondents must comply with Local Developing Business (LDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals of 10%. They must also provide references from similar projects and submit proof of registration with the State of Florida.
