Background
The City of Orlando is seeking proposals to modernize and enhance the security infrastructure at the Kia Center. The project aims to replace and expand existing camera systems, upgrade access control across all doors, and integrate these systems into a unified video management platform. The goal is to improve security measures for the facility, which is essential for the safety of staff and visitors.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Replace 197 existing cameras and install 260 new cameras, integrating both into a new video management system.
- Replace access control hardware on 247 doors and integrate into a new electronic access control system.
- Integrate and map cameras with access-controlled doors in the new system.
- Create a scalable physical identity management plan, including printing new credentials for 3500 staff members.
- Provide scalable on-premises storage solutions.
- Configure the system to accommodate a large number of users with different permission profiles.

- Install 455 cameras in total, including various types such as dome, fisheye, bullet, and PTZ cameras from Axis Communications.
- Implement an access control system with HID Seos Signo 40 readers across all doors, including elevators and dock doors.
- Ensure integration with existing systems such as Simplex Fire Alarm System and provide ongoing support during warranty periods.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five (5) years, which includes installation and maintenance services.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must meet specific qualifications including: holding Genetec Unified Elite partner status or higher; holding Axis Communications Gold partner status or higher; having completed at least five projects involving installation of at least 300 cameras and 200 access-controlled doors within the last two years; providing documentation of experience with multi-site Genetec federation; having experienced technicians available on-site during installation; submitting signed and notarized NDAs; and attending a mandatory pre-proposal conference.
