Schneider Electrical Components

Background
The Hillsborough County Water Resources Department (WRD) is seeking competitive sealed bids from experienced, qualified, and authorized Suppliers with a proven track record of providing Schneider Electrical component parts. The goal of the contract is to support the repair and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) panels. The resulting contract will be for a two-year period with an estimated budget of $545,053.19.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Schneider Electric component parts standardized for use in SCADA control panels. All components related to control or communications cannot be changed without redesigning the panels. No substitutions are allowed. Delivery of goods must occur no later than 15 days after receipt of a Purchase Order from the County, with delivery locations including various warehouses in Tampa and Riverview, Florida.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect for a two-year period from the effective date established by the County’s Blanket Purchase Agreement or Contract Purchase Agreement.

Place of Performance
Delivery locations may include: Central Warehouse (334 North Falkenburg Road, Tampa, Florida 33619), North Warehouse (9805 Sheldon Road, Tampa, Florida 33635), South Warehouse (10707 Rhodine Road, Riverview, Florida 33579), and East Warehouse (14091 Sydney Road, Valrico, Florida 33594).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate recent experience in providing similar goods and must be authorized distributors of Schneider Electric component parts at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract term. Proof of authorization must accompany bid submissions.
