The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking competitive bids for road maintenance and road fill delivery services on J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area (Corbett WMA) and John C. and Mariana Jones/Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area (Hungryland WEA) in Palm Beach and Martin Counties in accordance with the specifications contained herein.

Background
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking competitive bids for road maintenance and road fill delivery services on the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area (Corbett WMA) and the Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area (Hungryland WEA) located in Palm Beach and Martin Counties.

The mission of the FWC is to manage fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people. This contract aims to ensure the maintenance of existing roads within these areas, which are crucial for public access and wildlife management.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all tools, supplies, materials, transportation, labor, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete road maintenance services on up to 14 miles of existing roads in both areas. Specific tasks include:
- Performing road maintenance services on Corbett WMA up to 6 times per year.
- Performing road maintenance services on Hungryland WEA up to 3 times per year.
- Delivering one inch minus lime/shell rock as needed for road fill.
- Completing each road maintenance event within 5 days, ensuring roads are free of ruts, potholes, low spots, washouts, and windrows.
- Using a motor grader and rolling compactor for all maintenance activities.
- Maintaining existing road widths: Corbett WMA roads vary from 15 to 22 feet wide; Hungryland WEA roads are 15 feet wide.
- Ensuring that all work is conducted outside hunting seasons as coordinated with the FWC Project Manager.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for four years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area in northern Palm Beach County and Hungryland Wildlife and Environmental Area in northern Palm Beach and southern Martin Counties.
