Background
Jackson Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery network with over 15,000 employees, serving as a central provider of medical services in Miami-Dade County for over 105 years. Governed by the Public Health Trust Board of Trustees, Jackson Health System includes Jackson Memorial Hospital, which functions as a primary teaching hospital for the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
The system encompasses multiple hospitals and healthcare facilities, providing a wide range of services including trauma care, pediatric care, rehabilitation, and community-based health services.
Work Details
The contract involves providing Professional Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Services, specifically Profee Billing Services and Supporting Technology. The successful proposer will deliver comprehensive professional billing patient accounting technology services to support the entire revenue cycle process. This includes superior professional billing revenue cycle management services that ensure reliable support throughout the revenue cycle.
Period of Performance
The contract will be for a period of three (3) years starting from the date it is signed by both parties, with two (2) options to renew for one (1) year each.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the facilities operated by Jackson Health System in Miami-Dade County.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program which includes a 10% subcontracting goal. They must also certify compliance with various local ordinances including the Domestic Violence Leave Ordinance and Living Wage requirements. Additionally, bidders must not be in arrears to the County or Public Health Trust and must complete specific forms such as the Affidavit Identifying Authorized Representative(s) and Fair Subcontracting Policies.
