Request for Information: Prominent Brand Parts

The County is seeking information regarding the availability of Prominent Brand Products, which are used in the chlorination system at the Contact Chamber and Reuse Water Plant at the North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (NRTWWP). These products are essential for measuring the chlorine residual remaining in the water prior to its release into the water supply. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine whether the specified commodity or service can be sourced from multiple providers, or if an alternative commodity or service exists that would meet the County's requirements. This RFI is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. This solicitation is issued by the County, which is evaluating the market to confirm whether Prominent Brand Products, currently supplied by TriNova Inc. (TriNova), are available from other sources or if TriNova is the sole provider. The background for this contract is that Prominent Brand Products ensure that wastewater monitoring requirements and treatment techniques comply with specific parameters outlined in the State of Florida issued operating permit. Furthermore, these products are equipped with the necessary communication protocol to interface directly with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) hardware and software used by Water and Wastewater Services (WWS) for monitoring chlorine residuals. ProMinent Fluid Controls, Inc. has officially appointed TriNova Inc. Florida as the authorized single source representative for the municipal market. TriNova Inc. acts as the direct sales and service agent for ProMinent Fluid Controls to local, county, and state governments, as well as to contractors and system integrators on municipal projects within the state of Florida, excluding the panhandle. The contract requirements specify that only Prominent Brand Products, as described above, meet the County's needs for compliance and technical compatibility with existing systems. Prospective vendors are invited to submit information regarding their ability to provide the described commodity or service, or to offer a written explanation or documentation supporting their capability. This RFI will remain posted until the stated closing date and time.
