Replacement and Installation of Audio & Visual Equipment

Background
The Facilities Management Division of Collier County is seeking to replace outdated audio-visual equipment in the training room. The current equipment has performance issues, including poor audio clarity and unreliable video projection. The goal of this contract is to upgrade the system with modern technology to enhance functionality and ease of use.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and installation of new audio-visual equipment, which includes:

1) Removing the existing projector and installing a new 4K laser projector with specifications such as 20,000 Lumens, a minimum of 2 HDMI ports, a network port, a computer video port, compatibility with MS Windows Miracast and Apple AirPlay, and integration into a unified control system.

2) Removing the existing Blu-Ray player and installing a professional-grade player that integrates into the new audio system.

3) Providing and installing an appropriately sized amplifier that integrates into a unified control system.

4) Installing 4 to 6 ceiling-mounted speakers for optimal sound distribution.

5) Providing and installing a wireless microphone compatible with the amplifier system.

6) Installing a podium or wall-mounted unified controller for switching between devices connected to the projector, amplifier, and Blu-ray player.

7) Providing and installing a lockable AV equipment cabinet with adequate space for all components.

8) Including all necessary wiring, mounts, accessories, testing, and training sessions for staff on using the new system.

Period of Performance
The project is intended as a one-time purchase with delivery expected upon completion of installation after award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Facilities Management training room located at 3335 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34112.
