Renovate Staff and Lower Level Public Restrooms at Bradham Brooks Branch Library

Background
The City of Jacksonville, Florida is issuing a solicitation for the renovation of staff and lower level public restrooms at the Bradham Brooks Branch Library. This project aims to improve the facilities for both library staff and the public, aligning with the city's mission to enhance community services through well-maintained public spaces.

Work Details
The scope of work includes full demolition and restoration of the following restrooms: staff men's (229), staff women's (231), public men's (110), and women's (112) restrooms.

Key tasks include:
- Full demolition: removal of fixtures, mirrors, light fixtures, tile, and sheetrock down to the studs; removal of tile floor down to the slab.
- Restoration: replacement of all sheetrock on walls using green board; installation of new wall tiles up to 6' from finished floor; installation of new floor tiles; installation of new LED light fixtures and switches; patching, sanding, and painting walls, doors, and frames.
- Plumbing work includes replacing all fixtures and installing new isolation valves if not present. Contractors must check the condition of floor drains and provide estimates for replacements if necessary.
- Protective materials must be installed over all interior floor surfaces during construction. Daily cleanup is required in all working areas. All materials must comply with the Build American Buy American Act (BABA).

Specific finishes include:
- Wall Tile: Teck Art Grass Cloth, Color: Taupe 12x24
- Floor Tile: American Olean NE02, 12"x24", Matte PCT (Verona Cream)
- Fixtures from specified brands including Kohler for toilets and sinks.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be for one year with no renewal options.

The work will be performed at Bradham Brooks Branch Library located at 1755 Edgewood Ave W., Jacksonville, Florida 32208.
