Description

The project is to remove and properly dispose of (7) concrete light poles and (2) metal light poles, as well as repair (5) existing lights throughout park.
Background
The City of Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking bids for the removal and proper disposal of seven concrete light poles and two metal light poles at Russel Bill Cook Jr. Park. The project also includes the repair of five existing light fixtures throughout the park. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Remove and properly dispose of (7) concrete light poles.
- Remove and properly dispose of (2) metal light poles.
- Supply and install dirt to backfill all holes and disturbed areas after pole removal.
- Repair (5) light fixtures on existing concrete poles.
- Remove a section of the chain link fence on the backside of the park to provide access for crane operations.
- Reinstall the chain link fence once the project is complete.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of a purchase order or contract and will continue until completion and acceptance of the stated scope of work.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of applicable local business licenses if located within Duval County. Contractors must have completed a minimum of five projects in Jacksonville with similar scope within the last three years, along with references. Compliance with COJ Engineering standards for all concrete and electrical work is required, as well as holding a current Florida electrical contractor license.
