The project extends the full length of Taxiway Alpha, from Runway 15 North to the end of Runway 33. Key tasks include:
- Correcting geometry issues at crossing taxiways, including fillet improvements and establishing the required 90-degree centerline entrance to Runway 15-33.
- Replacing existing lighting and signage with new cable in conduit and LED fixtures, due to both the shift of the taxiway 50' east and issues with direct buried cabling.
- Demolishing existing pavement, milling, reclaiming/rotomixing, and constructing new pavement structures with P-401 asphalt surface and leveling courses, new base and subbase, and stabilized shoulders.
- Constructing a new P501 concrete compass calibration pad.
- Installing storm drainage pipe culverts and inlet/control structures, performing grading, airfield marking, fencing, turfing, lighting, signage, vault work, and ALCS modifications.
