Real Estate Broker Services

Background
The School Board of Volusia County, Florida (VCSB) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide real estate broker services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the selected firm can effectively conduct real estate transactions in alignment with the needs of the School Board, which serves approximately 62,800 K-12 students and employs around 7,500 staff members.

Work Details
The selected proposer will be responsible for providing comprehensive real estate broker services, which may include but are not limited to: identifying properties for acquisition or lease,
assisting in negotiations for property transactions,
providing market analysis and valuation services,
and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The services must adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the School Board and will remain effective until new proposals are taken and awarded. The initial term may be extended for up to 180 days upon mutual agreement of both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within Volusia County, Florida, where the School District operates its facilities.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with Florida Statute 287.133 regarding public entity crimes and must submit a notarized Public Entity Crimes Statement with their proposal. Additionally, proposers must provide proof of insurance as required by the District's specifications.
