Background
The City of Coral Gables is seeking sealed bids from experienced and qualified contractors to furnish and install an Emergency Generator at the City’s Trolley Depot located at 525 South Dixie Highway, Coral Gables, FL 33146.
The goal of this project is to ensure reliable emergency power supply for the facility, enhancing its operational resilience.
Work Details
The Contractor will provide all materials, supervision, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work as per the Contract Documents.
The scope includes furnishing and installing a new 300 Kilowatt (KW) diesel generator with a 72-hour sub-base fuel tank, a new 600 Amp breaker, a new 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, and a new waterproof sound-attenuated enclosure with a new concrete structure featuring a stem wall and painted stucco finish.
All work must comply with applicable laws and regulations including the Florida Building Code.
Period of Performance
The work shall commence upon execution of the Agreement or issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be substantially completed within 120 calendar days.
Final completion is required within 30 calendar days after delivery of the Punch List.
