Pumping and Process Equipment, Parts, and Maintenance

Background
Hillsborough County is seeking to procure pumping and process equipment, parts, and maintenance services for a term of five years. The procurement is being made as a sole source award to Environmental Equipment Services, LLC (EES), the exclusive provider and distributor of various equipment and services in Florida. The estimated cost for this contract is $7,616,700.00. This decision aligns with the County's Procurement Policy under Section 3-205(2)(e), allowing for sole source procurement when specific services are only available through one provider.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of pumping and process equipment, parts, and maintenance services from several manufacturers including Ruhrpumpen, Atara Equipment, Centrisys CNP, DuPont de Nemours, Lone Star Turbo, Ross Valve Mfg. Co., Inc., Smith & Loveless Inc., Landia, Inc., Headworks International, and Jaegar Aeration LLC. Specific items to be provided include:

- Smith & Loveless Inc. Equipment & Parts
- Ross Valve Equipment & Parts
- Centrisys CNP Equipment & Parts
- Lonestar Blowers Equipment & Rentals
- Landia Chopper Pumps & Aerator Equipment
- Jaeger Aeration Pumps & Aerator Equipment
- MEMCOR Membrane Equipment & Parts
- Headworks International Screens
- Ruhrpumpen Pumps.

Labor rates are specified as follows:
- Regular hours: $120.00/hr
- Overtime: $180.00/hr (excess of 8 hours)
- Weekends and holidays: $240.00/hr
Mobilization costs are set at $250.00 per person per day.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is five years from the date of award, with the possibility for extension based on changing conditions and updated requirements.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Hillsborough County, Florida.
