Background
Visit St. Pete-Clearwater is the official destination marketing organization for Pinellas County on Florida’s Gulf Coast, representing 24 distinct municipalities and communities. The mission of Pinellas County Government is to commit to progressive public policy, superior public service, courteous public contact, judicious exercise of authority, and sound management of public resources to meet the needs and concerns of citizens today and tomorrow.

The goal of this contract is to strategically generate publicity and shape a positive public perception across the United States and Canada, enhancing tourism which is a primary economic driver for the community.

Work Details
The contractor will provide dedicated domestic public relations services that include: generating publicity, shaping positive public perception, developing creative concepts, responding to evolving travel trends, managing reputation and crisis communications, pitching seasonal story angles, securing high-impact earned media coverage, and promoting the destination through social media.

The PR firm must leverage established media relationships and regional market insights to inspire travel consideration and drive bookings that support the local tourism economy.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 60 months from the date of agreement award with options for two additional 12-month extensions.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the United States and Canada.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to this solicitation. They must also register with the Florida Division of Corporations as per Florida Statute §607.1501. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of insurance as specified in the solicitation documents.
