Professional Structural Engineering Services Annual Contract

Background
The City of Jacksonville is seeking proposals from Structural Engineering Consultants to provide Professional Structural Engineering services. The goal of this contract is to assist in the management of the City’s Bridge Maintenance program and to prepare plans and specifications for structural repairs and construction.

Work Details
The contractor will provide professional structural engineering services, which include but are not limited to: assisting in the management of the City’s Bridge Maintenance program, preparing plans and specifications for structural repairs, and overseeing construction activities related to these projects.

The contractor must be authorized and licensed under Florida statutes to perform the professional services sought by this RFP. Additionally, they must have the capability to deliver final drawings in electronic form using standard formats such as .dx or .dwg.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of the purchase order or contract for a two-year period, with an option for the buyer to renew for up to two additional two-year periods based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The majority of the services shall be performed within Duval County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally authorized to do business in Duval County and comply with all minimum requirements specified in the solicitation. They must possess a Local Business Tax Certificate if applicable, and provide documentation showing FDOT prequalification in Minor Bridge Design Concrete.

Additionally, bidders must certify that no official or employee of the City has a material financial interest in their company.
