Professional Geotechnical, Construction/Materials Testing and indoor Air Quality Continuing Contract Services

The St. Johns County School District is seeking qualified firms to provide Professional Geotechnical, Construction/Materials Testing, and Indoor Air Quality Continuing Contract Services for a variety of school-related projects.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following services:

• Geotechnical engineering services, including soil and geotechnical testing, analysis, reporting, and consulting
• Construction and materials testing services, such as concrete, asphalt, and structural steel inspection, testing, and reporting
• Materials inspection, testing, and reporting for various construction materials
• Indoor Air Quality services, including radon and asbestos testing and reporting, as well as testing and reporting for mold, bacteria, lead, and other facility-related concerns
• Water and wastewater sampling and reporting
• Threshold and structural type inspections and reporting

These services are required for various projects throughout the school district and will be provided under a multiple year contract, awarded to one or more firms, for a period of up to five (5) years. The contract is renewable on an annual basis. All plans, drawings, and specifications developed for these projects will become the property of the Owner.

The St. Johns County School District is the requesting agency for these professional services.

Firms interested in submitting must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• At least ten (10) years of professional expertise in the geotechnical engineering field, materials testing field, indoor air quality, or other associated sciences and related fields
• Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing educational facilities, including State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) and the use and approval of public lands
