Background
The University of North Florida (UNF) Board of Trustees, a public body corporate, is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for various projects in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural disciplines. The goal of this contract is to support miscellaneous projects with total construction costs not exceeding $7,500,000 and professional services fees not exceeding $500,000.
Work Details
The scope of work includes engineering design, studies, and construction administration for on-campus and off-campus repairs, remodels, renovations, alterations, and additions. Firms must specify which engineering specialty(s) they are applying for in their letter of interest. The successful consultant must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal occupational safety and health regulations.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the agreement will be three (3) years starting from July 1, 2026, with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years.
Place of Performance
Work will primarily be conducted at the University of North Florida located at 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be qualified under Chapter 471.023 of Florida Statutes to practice engineering services; hold a current Florida corporate charter if a corporation; not be disqualified from doing business with the University; meet any special prequalification requirements; and not have been convicted of a public entity crime within the last 36 months.
