Police Access Control System Upgrade

Background
The City of Hialeah, Florida, is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to upgrade its existing access control systems. The goal is to replace the current Keri Systems key card access control systems with Motorola Avigilon Alta access control systems across various Police Department locations citywide. This initiative aligns with the city's commitment to enhancing public safety and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The project involves the installation of secure access control integration for approximately 144 doors and 25 gates. The selected vendor will provide a turnkey solution that includes all necessary hardware, software, licensing, installation, configuration, and any additional components required to deliver a fully operational access control system.

Additionally, the awarded vendor will enter into a maintenance agreement for up to five years to ensure ongoing support and maintenance for the installed systems.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to include a maintenance agreement lasting up to five years following the installation of the new systems.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various Police Department locations throughout the City of Hialeah, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid bond if the bid amount exceeds $100,000. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted as an original hard copy prior to the closing date.

Additionally, bidders must comply with local business registration requirements and demonstrate compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding employment verification through E-Verify.
