Plumbing Equipment and Supplies

Background
Miami-Dade County's Strategic Procurement Department (SPD) is issuing a notification to engage potential vendors interested in joining the prequalification pool RTQ-01397 for Plumbing Equipment and Supplies. This pool is utilized to procure various plumbing equipment and supplies for County departments. Being placed in the pool does not constitute a contract but confirms that vendors meet the necessary qualifications. The pool is open for submissions at any time, allowing new vendors to qualify as needed.

Work Details
Vendors in the prequalified pool will provide plumbing equipment, fixtures, parts, tools, supplies, and other related items on an as-needed basis. The scope includes but is not limited to:
- Copper Tubing, Fittings and Accessories
- Brass Tubing, Fittings, Connectors and Accessories
- Malleable Iron, Black and Galvanized Pipe Fittings
- Steel Weld Fittings and Weld Flange
- Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings and Flange Fittings
- PVC, DWV and CPV Pipe and Fittings
- Soil Pipe, No Hub and Fittings
- Clay Pipe, Fittings and Accessories
- Valves (various types including Cast Iron, Bronze Mounted)
- Chemicals, Oils, Tapes, Sealing Compounds, Solvent Cement
- Plumbing Tools and Equipment (all types)
- Water Heaters and their Parts
- Plumbing Fixtures and Accessories

Period of Performance
The prequalification pool is recommended for a five-year extension subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. The pool will remain open for submissions throughout this period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within Miami-Dade County.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide company contact information including main phone number, website (if applicable), primary contact person details (name, title, direct phone number, email), and references from existing customers who have received similar products within the past three years. Vendors must demonstrate experience in selling the products requested in this RTQ.
