Background
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, through its Water Utilities Department, is seeking proposals for the purchase and delivery of Pebble Quicklime in bulk.
The Water Utilities Department operates continuously to provide high-quality drinking water to approximately 600,000 residents in the central and south-central unincorporated areas of the County. This contract aims to ensure a reliable supply of Pebble Quicklime for water treatment processes.
Work Details
The selected contractor will provide Pebble Quicklime in bulk on an as-needed basis to specified Water Treatment Plant locations.
The contract will be effective for a twelve-month period starting February 13, 2025, with four optional twelve-month renewals at the County's discretion. Proposers must demonstrate experience in supplying such services and meet all criteria outlined in the RFP.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 13, 2025, and will last for twelve months until February 12, 2026. There are options for four additional one-year renewals.
