Palm Coast Community Center Solar Installation

Background
The City of Palm Coast is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the installation of a solar photovoltaic system at the Palm Coast Community Center. This initiative aligns with the city's commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Work Details
The contract involves the complete installation of a solar photovoltaic system for the Palm Coast Community Center. The total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of the 'Notice to Proceed.' An additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days will be allowed to achieve Final Completion. Bid documents are available at no cost through the City’s Procurement Portal, and all bid submissions must be made electronically through this portal.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a total period of ninety (90) consecutive calendar days, starting from the date of the 'Notice to Proceed.'

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Palm Coast Community Center, located in Palm Coast, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond if their bid amount is $100,000 or greater, which should be at least five percent (5%) of the bid price. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will also be required upon contract award. Bidders must have valid licenses throughout the duration of the contract and are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 3, 2025.
