Operations & Maintenance Services for Wastewater Treatment Plants

Background
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Operations & Maintenance Services for Wastewater Treatment Plants. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to protect and enhance the state's natural resources and ensure the effective management of wastewater treatment facilities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive Operations & Maintenance Services for Wastewater Treatment Plants, which includes but is not limited to:

- Regular maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- Monitoring of treatment processes
- Compliance with environmental regulations
- Reporting requirements as detailed in Attachment 3, Scope of Work.

The services must be performed by qualified personnel and adhere to industry standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue until June 30, 2029. There is an option for renewal for an additional period of up to three years based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various wastewater treatment plants managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection across the state of Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific certifications and requirements including:

- Not being on the convicted vendor list or discriminatory vendor list
- Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage
- Utilizing the E-Verify system for employment eligibility verification
- Adhering to all federal, state, and local laws regarding labor and environmental standards.
