Background
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (the 'Aviation Authority') is seeking qualified Wayfinding and Signage Consultants to support its Wayfinding & Signage Program through a multi-year, on-call professional services contract covering both Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL).
This engagement aims to enhance passenger navigation, experiential design, and brand experience across both campuses. The selected consultants will play a crucial role in delivering cohesive and intuitive signage solutions that improve passenger satisfaction and align with evolving brand and technology standards.
Work Details
The consultants will provide expertise in planning, concept design, documentation, and implementation support for the Aviation Authority's Wayfinding and Signage program. Specific tasks include:
- Planning and designing cohesive and intuitive signage solutions.
- Documenting the design process and providing implementation support.
- Ensuring signage solutions enhance passenger satisfaction.
- Aligning designs with evolving brand standards and technology.
- Adapting signage solutions to accommodate future expansions at both airports.
Period of Performance
The Professional Services Agreement is intended to last for five (5) years, starting on or around August 1, 2026.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL).
Bidder Requirements
Consultants must comply with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA) as per Section 287.055 of Florida Statutes. Additionally, all personnel must undergo background checks as per Aviation Authority requirements before being allowed access to secure areas of the airport.
