North Donnelly St Slope Stabilization-Erosion Ctl-Sidewalk Imp

Background
The City of Mount Dora is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB #26-PW-007) for the North Donnelly Street Slope Stabilization, Erosion Control, and Sidewalk Improvements project. The City serves an area of 12.26 square miles with a population of approximately 17,843. The purpose of this ITB is to obtain bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services that will enhance the infrastructure within the Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) and Northeast CRA.

Work Details
The work includes slope stabilization, erosion control, and sidewalk improvements along North Donnelly Street. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and supervision necessary to complete the project.

The project must achieve substantial completion within 60 days and final completion 30 days thereafter. Specific tasks include:
- Stabilizing slopes to prevent erosion
- Installing erosion control measures
- Constructing new sidewalks as per the specifications outlined in the attached exhibits (Exhibit A: Project Description and Scope of Work; Exhibit B: Special Conditions; Exhibit C: Technical Specifications; Exhibit D: Project Plans).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to start during winter months to minimize wet weather impacts. Substantial completion is required within 60 days from the start date, with final completion due 30 days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed in the North Donnelly Street area of Mount Dora, Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several requirements including:
- Must be in good standing and not listed in the System for Award Management (SAM) as an excluded party.
- All licenses required by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation must be active.
- If headquartered outside Florida, bidders must be licensed in both their home state and Florida.
- Evidence of authority to conduct business in Florida is required.
- Bidders must provide documentation for all subcontractors used on this project.
- Compliance with insurance requirements as specified in the ITB is mandatory.
