Background

The Nassau County Health Department (CHD) is seeking to award a contract for janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in its facilities as part of its mission to ensure public health.

Work Details
The contract involves providing comprehensive janitorial services at various locations including clinics and health departments within Nassau County.

Specific tasks include regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, waste disposal, and maintaining overall cleanliness in accordance with health standards.

The services must be performed at the following locations:
- Fernandina Beach Clinic
- Yulee Clinic
- Environmental Health Office
- Hilliard Clinic
- Callahan Clinic.

The contractor is expected to provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is anticipated to begin after the award date on September 3, 2025, and will continue for a specified duration as outlined in the final contract agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at multiple locations within Nassau County, Florida including:
- Fernandina Beach Clinic (1620 Nectarine Street)
- Yulee Clinic (86014 Pages Dairy Road)
- Environmental Health Office (86026 Pages Dairy Road)
- Hilliard Clinic (37203 Pecan Street)
- Callahan Clinic (45377 Mickler Street).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet mandatory requirements as specified in the solicitation. Vendors must have the necessary licenses and certifications to perform janitorial services.

Additionally, they are required to submit their bids by August 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Bidders are also advised that failure to file a protest within the prescribed time or failure to post required bonds may waive their rights under Chapter 120 of Florida Statutes.
