MyFloridaNet-3 RFI

Background
The State of Florida, through the Department of Management Services (DMS), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather insights from vendors regarding network infrastructure and support services for Eligible Users. These users include state agencies, local governments, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations. The information collected may inform a future competitive solicitation aimed at enhancing the state's telecommunications capabilities.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on a range of network services and solutions that may be included in the upcoming MyFloridaNet-3 (MFN-3) contract. Key features and solutions being contemplated include:

- Layer 3 VPN (L3VPN)
- Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)
- VPN with multi-factor authentication integration
- Cloud Connect with Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs)
- Centralized firewall solutions
- Custom SLAs including performance metrics
- Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection
- Transit Internet services with geo-redundant peering locations
- SD-WAN capabilities
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
- Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
- Point-to-Point services such as Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS)
- Managed Area Network (MAN) solutions.

Additionally, the RFI requests information on Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) options including routers and firewalls, as well as migration strategies between existing MFN-2 services and new offerings.

Period of Performance
Responses to this RFI are due by 5:00 p.m. ET on June 5, 2026. The period of performance for any resulting contracts will be determined following the RFI process.

Place of Performance
The services are intended to be provided statewide across Florida to various Eligible Users including state agencies, county and city governments, school districts, universities, community colleges, and non-profit organizations.
