Musical Instruments, Sheet Music, Supplies And Repair Services

Scope of Work:
The contract calls for the provision and delivery of a variety of musical instruments, sheet music, and related supplies. In addition, the contract includes the provision of musical instrument repair services at secure, firm, fixed percentage (%) discounts and firm fixed hourly rates for the specified contract period.

Services and repairs for musical instruments that are not covered under warranty will be requested by various offices, schools, and departments within the district on an as-needed basis. All quoted prices must include travel time, expenses, and inside delivery to the various schools, departments, and centers located throughout Manatee County, Florida.

Each awarded vendor will receive individual Purchase Orders, which will specify the name and shipping address of the requesting school, department, or center.

Requesting Entity:
The School District of Manatee County, Florida (SDMC/District) is issuing this invitation to bid.

Background:
This solicitation is intended to select suppliers to support the district's ongoing need for musical instruments, sheet music, supplies, and repair services. The district seeks to establish agreements with vendors who can provide these goods and services efficiently and at competitive rates.

Contract Requirements:

• Provide and deliver musical instruments, sheet music, and supplies as specified.
• Offer musical instrument repair services for items not covered under warranty.
• Quote prices that include all travel time, expenses, and inside delivery to district locations.
• Respond to requests from various offices, schools, and departments on an as-needed basis.
• SDMC reserves the right to limit the award of repair services to vendors located within Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Hardee, or Desoto County.

Submission Instructions:
Bidders are invited to submit their bids in accordance with the specifications outlined in this solicitation. Each bid should clearly indicate the firm, fixed percentage discounts and hourly rates for the contract period.
