The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Agricultural Environmental Services (AES) seeks to obtain competitive bids for aerial and ground mosquito adulticide application services (statewide).

Background
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), specifically the Division of Agricultural Environmental Services (AES), is seeking competitive bids for aerial and ground mosquito adulticide application services statewide. This initiative aims to enhance mosquito control efforts across Florida, ensuring public health and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will provide both aerial and ground application services for mosquito adulticides. The specific pesticides approved for use include Naled (Dibrom) for aerial applications and Malathion for ground applications, or other Department-selected active ingredients. The contractor must hold valid licenses for commercial aerial and ground application of mosquito adulticides in Florida. Additionally, the contractor is required to submit references from three recent projects similar in size and scope completed within the last five years. A list of subcontractors must also be provided, along with their licenses.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for an initial term with options for three one-year renewals, subject to satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed statewide across Florida as needed.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess valid licenses for aerial and ground pesticide application in Florida. They must provide proof of insurance, submit a completed W-9 form, and comply with all state regulations regarding public entity crimes and discriminatory vendor lists. Bids from certified minority business enterprises may receive preference.
